Emotions can be tough to navigate. Families can be difficult. Contentment can seem far away. We all seek to fulfill our purpose, find joy, and experience belonging in our communities.
Life isn't perfect. Being human is hard work . Navigating mental struggles can seem overwhelming. You are not alone.
We will see you as a whole person not a disease state. You will be provided an individualized plan of care based on your goals and symptoms. We want to hear your story and offer a compassionate partnership in your treatment of psychological pain.
Our Nurse Practitioners will talk about your medications and you will understand the risks, benefits, side effects of medications before you leave your appointment. You will know what symptoms the medications will be helping and how to monitor for progress. We recommend a comprehensive approach to emotional health to include medications, therapy, psychoeducation regarding sleep, exercise and nutrition.

Steven Tyree is a Marriage and Family Therapist with years of practice helping people navigate through difficult times. For more information about Steven please see his website below.

Daltrey Tyree is double board certified as psychiatric nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner with 20 years of NP experience. During her family NP practice she witnessed the debilitating effects of mental illness on client's function and physical health. She completed a post master's certificate in psychiatry in 2018.
Since transitioning from family practice to psychiatry, she has found this to be a rewarding path. She feels honored to be trusted with such incredible stories of healing. She is encouraged by the available treatments and new research in psychiatric practice and looks forward to a client's return to usual activities and improvement in mood.
Her goal is to help soothe suffering. She advocates for patients of any age to find optimal mental wellness. Good communication skills and evidence based knowledge are incorporated throughout her practice.
Daltrey and her husband Steven have blended a family. Together they raised five really cool humans into adulthood. She loves being a wife, mom, grandma and nurse practitioner. In her spare time you will find her tending her flower garden, snuggled up with a book and hot tea. You may see her jogging down the streets of Bowling Green with her forever running partner, Steven Tyree.

It has been said that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. It was never said life or suffering is easy or that we should face it alone, without help.
