Daltrey Tyree is dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of NP experience. During her family NP practice, she witnessed the debilitating effects of mental illness on client's function and physical health. She completed a post master's certificate in psychiatry in 2018.
Since transitioning from family practice to psychiatry, she has found this to be a rewarding path. She feels honored to be trusted with such incredible stories of healing. She is encouraged by the available treatments and new research in psychiatric practice and looks forward to a client's return to usual activities and improvement in mood.
Her goal is to help soothe suffering. She advocates for patients of any age to find optimal mental wellness. Good communication skills and evidence based knowledge are incorporated throughout her practice.
Daltrey and her husband Steven have blended a family. Together, they raised five really cool humans into adulthood. She loves being a wife, mom, grandma and nurse practitioner. In her spare time you will find her tending her flower garden, snuggled up with a book and hot tea. You may see her jogging down the streets of Bowling Green with her forever running partner, Steven Tyree.
